I'm starting to realize I do not want to date guys who live in dorms anymore. They are often in their mid 20s and still living a camp/sem lifestyle. I am 23, I've been home for 5 years and I can't relate to dates who are still talking about dorm pranks and every sentence starting with 'my friends and i...'

I guess I need someone who is past dorm life at this point.

I don't think that you should make such a blanket decision. As someone who lived in a dorm for a few years, even now I still think back on those days often and wish that i could be there again. There is something to be said about living with like-minded people on your own that breads an understanding of relationships and people as well as a maturity.

Maybe I am wrong, but I think it's pretty normal for guys to be in a dorm setting for quite a number of years. It is different than many girls, but there's a lot of plusses to dorm life, like learning to live with other people, etc.
