Post Summer Vacation

Me and a couple friends want to get on a summer vacation for around a week. We don't really know where we want to go. Does anyone have any good ideas?

how much money do you have to spend on this? Do you want to do something national, local, or international?

Just something relaxing/fun nothing crazy like white water rafting.... 😀 maybe someplace with nice scenery maybe near an amusement park? We don't really have anything specific in mind.

Something in driving distance.

If you want to just relax with nice scenery, and want to be in driving distance, you don't need to spend anywhere near $2000. (2000 each I'm assuming)

If you're looking to spend 2k, I recommend flying to alaska and doing some glacier cruises, and touring Denali.

If you want to stay local and relax, I'm going to recommend you rent a cabin together in vermont or new hampshire, and hang around, and hike a bit, and make barbeques.

Vancouver in awesome if you meant $2000 each. Obviously not driving distance, unless you're from Seattle.

Hershey park and spa might be what you are looking for. 😉
Its an amusement/water type of park-hershey park
Its really relaxing- hershey spa ( i heard this from someone close to me, high class and beautiful view, might be pricey though..)

Niagara falls sounds like a great option too.

Hope you enjoy your vacation! 🙂

Hmm never heard of that I'll have to look into it.

Thanks everyone! Only problem is I can't show this to my friends because then they'll know my screen name 😀

Lots of scenic spots - both ocean and mountain views. Plenty of fun attractions. Shopping is amazing. But it's pretty expensive place.

how about to virginia beach or some other beach town and do all kinds of water sports? like jet-skiing, tubing, banana-boating....and can also rent bikes to ride along boardwalk. plus, most beach towns have arcades and rides near the beach.
