I know this is a random post. but does anyone know of the game priorities? That is, where you write down all the things in your life (from trivial and mundane to truly important) and then fight out the cards; as in which one gets more priority. anyway, i lost my stack of cards that i once put together and im trying to come up with more ideas of cards...(not the trivial kind) does anyone have any ideas?

hey a friend told me about this game, but didn't explain to me how to play. can anyone explain? it sounds really cute. i think i might have played it once in sem, but we didnt give the game a name... is it the one where you have a million different card with diff things written on them, then you keep taking cards away and putting a more important priority card in its place, then at the end you see like the four things that are most important to you?

wow! thanx everyone! you definitely added a large number of cards to my list!
chaykie and esti- this game can be played in large of small groups. its a very fun way to broaden horizons and learn the value of new things. basically, you distribute a few cards to each girl. each card says a different thing on (as you see from the list above). then you take the remaining cards and stack them. you pass the cards in the stack around and each has to either exchange the card with one of theirs or pass on the card to the next... this way you learn to prioritize with what you feel is most important. there is no right or wrong answer and it all turns into one big discussion. im a teacher and LOVE playing this game with my girls

I use a great link with my class that may be perfect to play this game with! You put random words in the "machine" and it randomly picks one out. It has a download option so maybe it can even be added to this site! Let me know if anyone can figure out how to play this on the forum. It could be really fun!

OK! So who is in for a game of priorities? I think we should pair up with a group of at least 4. We should then come up with a list of different qualities in a boy, then everyone will use the fruit machine and pick 4 things, and we can then play the game I think it might be a lot of fun. Who's in??????

4 or more people pick 7 "cards". After everyone has all of their "cards" The top person will pick another "card" either pass it on, or keep it and pass on something else. The person under her can either pass that on or keep it ect. Does that make sense?

So we keep doing that and keep staying with 7 cards, right? But then, if I'm initially choosing 7 priority cards, then I'll make sure to keep it on every round, so when exactly am I forced to make a choice? Sorry, maybe I'm missing something...?

We start with 7 then one girl picks a card she now has 8 so she has to get rid of one card, she gets rid of one and passes it on to the girl underneath her who now also has to get rid of one card (I think this is how you play, am I wrong?)

🙂 Yes, you explained it well the first time. The thing I don't get is this: Eveyone makes sure to choose seven cards that are priorities for them, right? So then on each round, they'll just probably pass on whichever 8th card they received in order to stay with the initial 7 cards. I'd think the initial cards would have to be randomly given, no?
