(another email i got this is simple and easy) We hope this email finds you and your families well.
Although the eleventh hour is upon us, and our focus this week is set on doing Teshuva, we find it worthwhile to muster up as much of Hashem's Middas Rachamim as we can by initiating a Tehillim initiative for this upcoming Yom Kippur.
The project is simple: concentrate on and say one Perek of Tehillim this Yom Kippur, during the day between Mussaf and Mincha, and have whomever you know that is in need of a Shidduch in mind when doing so.
Our goal is to have 450 individuals partake in this project by each signing up to say one Perek. This will allow for all of Sefer Tehillim to be completed 3 different times, corresponding to the 3 things that have the power to annul a bad decree: Teshuva, Tefila, and Tzedaka. In addition, the number 3 also signifies a Chazaka, so we are certain all those involved will receive tremendous Brocha just for participating.
In order to register, a link to a Google Document is available below. Please be aware that this document is a public one, which means it is viewable to all. That being said, we understand if you prefer not to disclose any personal information, so we ask that you at least provide your initials in the respective column, which will guarantee your anonymity. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR ONE PEREK IN ONE SET, AS THE GOAL HERE IS TO MAXIMIZE THE PARTICIPANT BASE.
We understand that there are currently many other Tzaros that desperately need our Tefilos, and we encourage everyone to address them as well. However, if you directly know someone who is single, divorced, widowed, or a parent/child to any of the above, and/or are one of the above, then you understand that the frustrations they endure are real and palpable. At the end of the day, we all yearn for the blessed opportunity to have a loving spouse and family to build a Bayis Ne'eman B'Yisroel.
Please forward this along to all your contacts to spread the word quickly...the clock is ticking!
Tizku L'Mitzvos and a G'mar Chasima Tova,
