Accessorize! Hey girls, you heard right! It’s time to accessorize your wardrobe with bags, scarves, belts, jewelry or just about anything! So hold it, what exactly is an accessory? Before we learn how to accessorize lets learn it’s definition. An accessory can be anything that is not essential in itself but it is something extra that will add beauty, or in other words something that will give you that extra “umph”.

There are so many different ways to accessorize and we will start by focusing on one. Let’s begin with necklaces. The 2013 summer season’s latest looks are ones with bold colors and embellishments. These chic necklaces can easily dress up or dress down any outfit. The best part of it all is that you can choose exactly how much “part” of an outfit you want it to make. It’s all up to you so have fun with it. You can begin by looking for a color in your top that you don’t immediately see when you look at it. Perhaps the color of a cuff, collar, or pinstripe. Choose that color to be your base when looking for a necklace. You will be amazed to see that when wearing the necklace, the “off” color will become alive. The top may even look entirely different with and without the necklace. Don’t be afraid to be creative, you will be amazed at the results.

Pendants and chains are also popular now so there’s lots available out there no matter what type of look you want. A pendent necklace with a green butterfly can add personality and style to your white blouse with green buttons. The rule is that there is no color that is “too small’ to be brought out. In fact, the less obvious the color, the cooler it will look when brought out. The pendent can actually “make” the outfit. My suggestion to you is to take a few of your popular dating tops along with you to the store. You may be surprised when you see that for under $10.00, a necklace can add so much to your “boring” top.

The options are endless and you will even begin to enjoy finding that perfect necklace to match to your top. So go for it, be expressive and let the colors that you choose bring out the best in yourself. Don’t be shy to let the cheerful colors that the summer offers give off the inner beauty and shine that you have hidden inside. Good Luck and can’t wait to hear how it goes!
